In 1956, Cortina hosted the very first edition of the Winter Olympics in Italy and 70 years later, in 2026, it will once again be host to the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics.
Cortina is just under 2 hours from Venice Marco Polo airport and around 3 hours from Verona and Innsbruck.
