Welcome to the stunning Villa Oseno, overlooking beautiful Lake Como. With stunning views over the lake and the Isola Comacina, this luxury villa offers a perfect retreat at one of Italy’s most famous lakes.

Within walking distance to the charming town of Sala Comacina and Lake Como’s shore, the villa offers a breathtaking 180-degree view over the lake and stunning private infinity pool.

Spread over three levels, this spacious villa accommodates up to 10 guests over 5 bedrooms and floor to ceiling windows flood this home with natural light and incredible views. The ground floor is the heart of the villa and boasts a beautiful lake view lounge, spacious dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The lounge opens on to the long, lake-view terrace, the real jewel in the crown of this villa. The ground floor is also home to three of the four lake view bedroom suites. The master lake view suite is on the upper floor .

The outdoor area of the villa is an oasis of luxury and relax and boasts an infinity pool, integrated hot tub and incredible panoramic views over the lake.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

There are 5 bedrooms in total of which 4 are luxurious lake view suites. Stylishly furnished, the bedrooms offer king size beds, air conditioning and private bathroom with shower.

The 3 bedroom suites on the ground floor of the villa all have direct access to the terrace and boast wide lake views.

The fourth bedroom is on the upper floor and also has a private terrace.

The fifth bedroom is located on the lower floor of the villa and is a standard room with ensuite bathroom. This has direct access to the terrace but is without lake view.

The bathrooms are all ensuite rooms with shower.

All bedrooms have king size beds and 4 can be configured as twin rooms, on request.

Lounge and Kitchen

The main kitchen is modern and fully equipped with high-quality appliances including separate food and drinks fridge, ice machine, wine fridge and coffee machines.

There is also a smaller, back kitchen fitted with professional dish washer and ideal for private chefs. It is the perfect space to collect, clean and reorder the kitchen in private, while guests enjoy a serene and seamless kitchen at the front.

Outdoors

The terrace surrounds the villa and offers magnificent sweeping views over Lake Como below. The space is completed with an alfresco dining area, a 35 sqm infinity pool and a hot tub.

Sauna and Gym

Villa Oseno hosts a fully equipped gym complete with exercise bikes, weights and yoga space and there is a lake view sauna too.

Good to Know

The villa is air conditioned.

The pool is not fenced so children must always be supervised.

The villa can accommodate 8 guests in the four double bedrooms on the ground and first floors. On the lower ground floor, there is a fifth smaller bedroom that can accommodate two extra guests.

There are laundry facilities and WIFI throughout the home.

There are covered parking spaces available at the villa.

Guests have access to a complimentary shuttle service between the villa and the lake, private dock and local restaurants in the village of Sala Comacina. The journey is approximately 2 minutes and is available on request during between April and September.

Location

Villa Oseno is located in the hills of the charming old-town of Sala Comacina. Although a small village, it offers an authentic Italian experience and is best known for having Lake Como’s only island – Isola Comacina. The village is around 1km away from the villa and within walking distance.

Guests have access to a complimentary shuttle service between the villa and the lake, private dock and local restaurants in the village of Sala Comacina. The journey is approximately 2 minutes and is available on request during between April and September.

The village and surrounding areas offer a host of excellent traditional and modern restaurants and be sure to visit nearby Villa del Balbianello. With a wonderful location on Lake Como’s shore, the villa has been used in feature films including both Star Wars and James Bond’s Casino Royale.

For a great alternative, head down the hill to nearby Tremezzo, check yourself into the superb restaurant for dinner and take full advantage of the world-class wine list and culinary delights.

The well known resort of Menaggio is just 20 minutes away with Como and Bellagio around 40 minutes away. If you’re looking to head further afield, both Lecco and Lugano (Switzerland) are around 60 minutes away with Milan and Bergamo up to 90 minutes away.
