The ground floor is the heart of the villa, where a spacious lounge with fireplace and comfortable sofas opens onto the wide covered porch and mountain views across the water. The fully equipped kitchen leads on to the lake view dining room and is perfect for dinner parties hosted by your own private chef. The dining room also opens directly to the dining area on the porch, offering a wonderful opportunity for al-fresco dinners. There’s a barbecue here too as well as a lounge area.

The villa sleeps up to 10 guests in five bright bedrooms, with three spacious double rooms on the first floor, each with direct access to the terrace and splendid lake views. The attic space offers two spacious and elegant bedrooms – one double room and one twin room, which can also be configured as a double. This floor also has a private lounge area with sofas and tv as well as a quiet study.

The lower floor of the villa boasts an incredible wellness and spa area, complete with an indoor, heated hydromassage pool, Turkish bath and a well-equipped private gym. Surrounded by over half an acre of beautifully kept gardens, Villa Preone offers a wonderful mix of indoor and outdoor living and boasts a large private swimming pool, with views over the lake and mountains.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms 

Five bedrooms – four double rooms and one twin room. The twin room can be configured as a double bed.

Three double rooms are on the first floor and each opens on to the terrace and has lake views. The master bedroom has a private bathroom, finished in wonderful red marble, complete with whirlpool bath tub and integrated shower. The other two bedrooms share a family bathroom with shower. 

The remaining two bedrooms (one double and one twin) are on the attic floor. These rooms share another family bathroom with shower. 

There is an additional bathroom with shower in the spa area as well as a guest toilet on the ground floor.

Kitchen / Living Area

The villa boasts a fully equipped kitchen complete with Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, and large fridge/freezer with ice maker. 

With direct access from the kitchen, the dining room opens on to the covered porch, offering al-fresco dining with lake views. There is a barbecue area here too for summer grilling.

Swimming Pool & Spa 

The private outdoor pool measures 15m x 7m and is furnished with sun loungers and parasols. With panoramic lake views, the pool has convenient step access and is double depth, ranging from 140cm to 240cm. 

The wellness area boasts a heated marble pool (6m x 3m) with hydromassage features. The private gym area features an exercise bike, treadmill, weights, elliptical trainer and mats.

Good to Know

The villa has air conditioning throughout and is also equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi. 

There is a laundry room available on the lower floor of the villa and features a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. 

There are hairdryers in all the bathrooms. 

The villa features a large garage (for up to 3–4 cars) with lift, and private outdoor parking for 2 cars.

Location

Villa Preone is perfectly placed for exploring Lake Garda, just 300 meters from the beach and Portese port. The picturesque medieval village of Portese is only 200 meters away and within easy walking distance to a selection of excellent restaurants, both in the village and by the lake. 

The larger village of San Felice del Benaco is 1.5 km away and offers more restaurants as well as a small supermarket. The lively major town of Salò is just 3 km from the villa and boasts a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The beaches are popular with the locals and the town has a wonderful lakeside promenade, almost 3km in length and the only one of its kind on Lake Garda.

Both Portese and Salò have ferry ports and are well connected, offering an excellent way to explore more of Lake Garda. 

We do recommend having a vehicle for stays at Villa Preone but it is within walking distance to a good selection of restaurants as well as the ferry port.

Just 30 minutes drive from the main A4 Milan-Venice motorway, Villa Preone is about a 1 hour drive from both Milan Bergamo Airport and Verona Airport.
