Discover Villa Burago, a spacious, lakeview family villa to rent overlooking the bay of Salò. Nesteld in it’s own private park, the villa has been designed to fully enjoy the stunning panoramic views of Lake Garda.

Although this home sits on the hill above this popular lakeside town, it is not remote and is a short walk to a selection of restaurants and supermarket and just 2km from the lake and town.

Spread over two floors, Villa Burago accommodates up to 13 guests over 5 bedrooms. The main floor of the villa is the heart of this family home and boasts a large lounge and dining space and spacious kitchen. This traditional Italian villa also features high ceilings, with exposed wood panelling as well as an antique piano. Three of the bedrooms are also on this floor and open on to the terrace and garden and a magnificent lake view.

The villa also has a lower floor with two bedrooms.

The highlight of this family home is the panoramic terrace with a stunning lake view. Step down to the gardens where you’ll find a large private pool and a barbecue area with gazebo. The private park surrounds the villa and features an olive grove and more sweeping lake views.

For the active guest, there is also a fitness area in the garage as well as two bicycles available for use.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes an oven and dishwasher as well as Nespresso coffee machine. The kitchen table sits 8 to 10 guests and there is another dining area in the living space.

Swimming Pool

The private pool is equipped with sun loungers and parasols and is 11m x 6m. It is also fenced to aid child safety.

Good to Know

The upper bedrooms are air conditioned while the lower bedrooms are naturally cool.

The gardens are fully fenced, making them also ideal for pets.

There are laundry facilities in the lower floor bathroom and all bathrooms have hair dryers.

The villa has WIFI throughout.

Location

Villa Burago is just 2km from the lake and centre of Salò. The villa sits on the hill above the lake and is close to a few restaurants and well-known pizzeria as well as a small shopping centre and supermarket. You can reach the lake, beach and start of the lakeside boardwalk in around 20 to 30 minutes. This is the longest on Lake Garda and is a pleasant stroll into the centre of this bustling lakeside town. Please note that the walk back to the villa is uphill.

A lively town all year around, Salò is also one of the major ports on Lake Garda and is well served by the lake ferries, offering a wonderful way to explore Lake Garda. You’ll find all the shops, restaurants and ice cream parlours you need here as well as the beach, particularly popular with locals.

Villa Burago is a good base for exploring this beautiful region with the major towns and airports of Verona, Venice and Milan within easy reach. The main Milan – Venice motorway is within 30 minutes drive of the villa and both Milan Bergamo and Verona airports are around 1 hour away.
