This stunning modern home offers a luxurious blend of design, space and style and the views over the lake below are breathtaking. Designed with a modern and minimalist twist, Villa Camellia is built over two floors with one facade made of local stone in keeping with local traditions while the other side is painted in soft pastel colours to blend with the surrounding landscape.
The grounds of the villa are large and offer a calm and private space while the vibrant town of Stresa is just over a kilometre away.
This beautiful home accommodates 8 guests over 4 bedrooms. The ground floor is an impressive open-plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen and floor to ceiling windows that open on to the covered patio and endless views of the lake and mountains beyond.
The two sleeping areas of the villa are to each side of the living space. One side is home to the double master bedroom and the twin bedroom, both with ensuite bathrooms. The other side has two double bedrooms and a family bathroom.
The lower floor of the villa features a spacious lounge with dining area as well as a fantastic home cinema area. This floor also has the fourth bathroom.
Outside, the landscaped gardens have been as carefully designed as the interior. The private infinity pool is a stunning spot to soak up the incredible views as is the covered terrace, a perfect place for true Italian al-fresco dining.

Location
Set in a peaceful residential area, Villa Camellia nestled on the hillside just above Stresa and overlooks the famous Borromean Islands.
Stresa, one of the most popular lakeside towns in Lake Maggiore, is just over a kilometre from the villa and its narrow streets, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. The lakefront promenade is home to the ferry port where you can hop on a ferry to visit the wonderful and world famous Borromean Islands.
The centre of Milan is an hour away by train with the beautiful city of Turin just an hour and a half away. Alternatively, head to the north of the lake and visit Switzerland.
This villa is around 45 minutes from Milan Malpensa airport, just over 1 hour from Milan Linate and 90 minutes from Milan Bergamo airport. There is ample parking for up to 3 cars at Villa Camellia.

The villa is amazing and the views over the Lake are just wow! Check in was easy and the support from Silvana was great, including restaurant recommendations. We had a lovely family holiday in a beautiful location

We’ve stayed in some great homes before; but this has to be the most beautiful one. The view is as good as you would expect from the photos. You cannot stop looking at it. The home itself is very nice, and very clean. A pleasure to stay. If you’re looking for a private, stunning and clean place at the lake; look no further. Also the host is really nice. She responds swift, and really takes pride in assuring you have a pleasant stay. Just perfect.

This is an incredible villa – truly spectacular views over the lake, and extremely comfortable and well appointed. It has everything you could possibly want for a holiday and more besides – fabulous infinity pool, wonderful places to sit and relax on the terraces, plus an easy (though hilly) walk into Stresa where there are lovely bars and restaurants. The villa is beautifully designed and built, and everything works brilliantly including the parking, TVs, air conditioning, kitchen and lighting. Roberta and her house manager are really friendly and helpful, and we felt welcomed, supported and at home throughout. All the family absolutely loved it – we have stayed in lots of villas and this one is truly outstanding.

The house is built in such a way to take advantage of the views with floor to ceiling windows. Being up the hill from the town of Stresa made it more breathtaking. You can walk to town but we were there during a fairly cold and wet April so didn’t do that. I’m sure in the warm weather it is lovely. The caretaker for the home was very responsive by text messaging.

Fantastic view, a real wow effect when you look at Lake Maggiore for the first time. Very tastefully and high quality furnishings, including air conditioning. Well equipped, the infinity pool tops it all off. We enjoyed wonderful barbecues and games evenings here with the whole family, but also often just enjoyed the view. This will be an unforgettable vacation
