Overview

Located in a quiet spot on the western shore of Lake Garda, Villa Codirosso is a beautiful home and an excellent base for exploring. This wonderful villa sits within a stunning olive grove that farms and produces extra virgin olive oil and makes for a very unique stay in one of Lake Garda’s premium olive oil regions.

The villa boasts a blend of modern design and attention to detail and is spread over two levels, accommodating up to 10 guests over three bedroom suites. The main living space is on the ground floor and is the heart of this home. The living space is open plan and offers a comfortable lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. Step out on to the patio and enjoy al-fresco meals overlooking the private pool thanks to the outdoor dining area and barbecue.

The ground floor is also host to two of the three bedrooms, both with private bathrooms. The third bedroom and the master suite is on the first floor and as well as a private bathroom boasts a balcony with a view over the lake.

You have your own private spa here thanks to a sauna, Jacuzzi and Turkish bath, plus lawned gardens and a private swimming pool. To keep the little ones entertained, there’s also a play area with slide and swing as well as free bikes, excellent for heading down into the village or lake.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

There are three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a guest toilet on the ground floor.

On the ground floor, there is 1 bedroom with double bed and a second double bed on the mezzanine level. This room has a private bathroom with a shower.

The second, double bedroom is also on the ground floor and has an open-plan bathroom on the upper floor. This bathroom has both a centre-room bathtub and shower.

The master suite is on the first floor and has a double bed as well as a double sofa bed. This room has a private bathroom with shower and a lake view balcony.

Good to Know


The swimming pool can be heated upon request. It isn’t fenced – if you’re bringing little ones, they’ll need to be supervised at all times.

The whole house is air conditioned and offers WIFI throughout.

At full capacity, two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the master suite so privacy is limited.

The three double beds can be configured as single beds so please let us know your preference on booking.

Pets are welcome with no extra supplements.

During October and November, the olives are harvested in the surrounding fields so please note that there may be noise in the day of tractors and machinery.

The owners of this home and the farm live next door and are available as and when needed.

Location

Villa Codirosso is in a wonderful and quiet location, just above the Golf of Salò and close to the quaint village of San Felice del Benaco.

The port of Portese and the lakside beaches are a 5 minute drive away with the centre of San Felice del Benaco just a 15 minute walk. The village has a small yet good selection of restaurants, bars and a small supermarket and the ferry port at Portese is well connected, offering a great way to explore more of Lake Garda.

There’s free private parking available here and we would highly recommend renting a car if you’re keen to explore the local area. It’s a perfect base for exploring Lake Garda and there are plenty of day trip options including Verona, Milan and Venice.

Nearby Salò is a larger and lively town with a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The beaches are popular with the locals and the town boasts a wonderful lakeside promenade, almost 3km in length and the only one of its kind on Lake Garda.

Just 30 minutes drive from the main A4 Milan-Venice motorway, Villa Codirosso is about a 1 hour drive from both Milan Bergamo Airport and Verona Airport.
