Overview

A quintessential Italian home, with plenty of space for the whole group to relax, Villa Fiordisole is a beautiful historic villa typical of this area. The villa has stunning lake views and is just a few hundred meters from the beaches and services of Barbarano, Salò.

The villa was recently renovated in with all new interiors that combine traditional Italian style with new modern convenience. The villa is surrounded by a large terraced private park overlooking the lake, for maximum exclusivity and privacy yet still just a few steps from the life of town and the lake.

The villa is built on three levels: on the ground floor there is the entrance atrium as well as a play room, a reading room, studio and a bathroom. On the first floor there is a large new, well-equipped kitchen, a bright and panoramic living room as well as a dining room overlooking the lake. The first floor also hosts the spacious master bedroom with a lake view terrace.

Upstairs there are 6 bedrooms and 3 new bathrooms. All rooms are furnished tastefully with a mixture of beautiful selected antiques combined with new modern comfort. Air conditioning in all bedrooms, in the dining room and in the games room and WIFI throughout. Enjoy the beautiful gardens and park, eating al fresco on summer evenings on the porch, complete with barbecue area and dining table.

Bedrooms

A total of 7 bedrooms: on the first floor there is the spacious master bedroom with double bed and 2 single armchair/beds with beautiful balcony overlooking the lake.

On the upper floor there are 6 rooms in two different areas: the main house area with 2 double rooms with lake view (one also with balcony); and the attic area, 4 rooms including: a single room, 2 twin rooms (one of which can convert to a double), and a double room, all rooms with lake view.

Bathrooms

6 bathrooms (4 complete and two service rooms with toilet only). There is a service bathroom on the ground floor and another on the first floor. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower and there are 3 bathrooms on the second floor with shower and one with bath.

Kitchen

New kitchen with all major and minor appliances, including American (side by side) fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine.

Living Area

Large sitting area surrounded by panoramic windows and sofas for eight people. Fine finishes and antique chandeliers. Balcony. Antique prestige stone fireplace (not usable) with sitting area, reading area. Another study room / reading room on the ground floor. Games room on the ground floor.

Outdoors

The villa boasts a 6000 sqm terraced garden with stunning views. It is furnished with sun loungers. The terrace in front of the villa overlooks the lake and is complete with table for 15, lounge area and barbecue.

Good to Know

There is WIFI throughout the villa and there ar laundry facilities too. Hairdryers are provided in all bathrooms.

Location

Villa Fiordisole is in Barbarano di Salò and is just a few minutes walk to the lake, as well as bars, restaurants and other useful amenities. You are also a short walk away from Rimbalzello Village, a beachfront center with restaurant, tennis courts, swimming pool and beach.

In July and August the owners have arranged for four pre-paid sun-loungers and umbrellas to be made available for guests to use here (at other times charges apply).

The start of the lakeside promenade of Gardone Riviera is around 500m away where you’ll find a good selection of restaurants and lakeside cafes as well as the ferry port. Ferries leave regularly during the summer months and offer a great way to explore Lake Garda.

A vehicle isn’t essential for stays here but it is recommended. There is ample parking, inside the property security gates, for up to 5 cars.
