Overview

Villa Giulia is arranged over three levels, with a separate wellness area accessed from the garden. The main living level is bright and open, with wide windows framing the lake, a beautifully restored original fireplace, and an easy flow between the living area, dining and the modern kitchen. The kitchen also opens to its own terrace, which works well for breakfast in the morning sun or a quieter coffee spot.

The mezzanine level hosts two en-suite bedroom suites: the master, with both shower and bathtub, and a second double suite with shower. On the lower level you’ll find the third double suite, also en-suite, with the option of adding an additional child bed on request.

Outside, the villa sits on terraced grounds spread over several levels, with unobstructed lake views. The private pool (approx. 12m x 5m) looks straight out over Lake Garda, and the large furnished terrace is made for al-fresco meals and long, unhurried evenings.

A standout feature is the detached lower-level wellness area, accessed from the garden, with a sauna, relaxation zone, a full bathroom, and a shower with side massage jets – a lovely addition after a lake day or for cooler-season stays.

Location

Villa Giulia sits in a peaceful pocket above Gargnano, around 1.5km from the historic centre and the lakefront. It’s around a 20-minute walk into town for cafés, shops and the lakeside.

Although Gargnano is a small village, it’s a lovely one for an easy week: a handful of quaint local shops, a relaxed waterfront, and a surprisingly good choice of restaurants and pizzerias for evenings out – including several simple spots right on the lake with tables by the water.

For larger supermarkets and more services, Toscolano Maderno is around a 15-minute drive away.

The villa is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Verona Airport and around 90 minutes from Milan Bergamo Airport.

A vehicle is needed for stays here, although the centre of Gargnano is walkable. There are four parking spaces at the villa.
