Villa Giulietta
Lake Garda, SirmioneOverview
Nestled on the world-famous peninsula of Sirmione, Villa Giulietta is a stunning and exclusive lakeside home in the south of Lake Garda. Sitting in the very north of the peninsula, the villa was home to nobles and offers an extraordinary base in one of Lake Garda’s most prestigious areas.
Built in the 1950s, Villa Giulietta has been recently renewed and renovated creating a perfect blend of old and new. With wonderful architecture, luxurious interiors and superb privacy, the villa is surrounded by an oasis of green and offers direct access to the small beach on the lake.
Carefully designed, the villa is spread over two levels and accommodates up to ten guests across four bedroom suites. The ground floor is host to the beautiful living space with lounge and stunning views over the gardens and lake. The living areas have been lovingly decorated and include a library and study and a quirky circular dining room with wide windows facing the lake. There is a modern, fully-equipped kitchen too.
The bedrooms are all on the first floor and each has its own private bathroom and wonderful views over the lake.
Outside, the vast garden wraps around the house and is made up of parkland and olive groves and slopes gently down to the lake. Take a dip in the private pool or experience the lake and its unique waters, a colour only found in this area of Lake Garda.

Location
The villa is located on the picturesque peninsula of Sirmione, jutting out onto Lake Garda. With stunning views of the lake, Sirmione is famous for its historic sights including the medieval castle and ruins of the Grotto of Catullus, a Roman Villa built in the 1st Century BC. Sirmione is also home to lots of pretty streets and a great selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, all within easy walking distance to the villa.
Sirmione is well known for its thermal baths – the naturally occurring mineral-rich thermal water is used by spas and wellness centres and one of Italy’s most renowned, Aquaria Thermal Spa, is just a short walk away from Villa Giulietta.
If you wish to travel by car for your stay here, please let us know in advance. Cars on the Sirmione peninsula (past the walled entrance near the castle) are restricted and need to be arranged and pre-approved. There are also restricted access times too, but all of which we can help you with. There are private parking spaces within the property.
Villa Giulietta is about a 45 minute drive from Verona Airport and about a 1 hour drive from Milan Bergamo Airport. Sirmione is an easy destination to get to and you can discover the various options in our Guide, How to Reach Lake Garda. See here for Car Hire and Transfer options.

This is a stunning property in a beautiful location and we absolutely loved our stay here
We are an extended family of 3 generations and there was plenty of room, so we could either comfortably all be together or have our own quiet spaces . The garden and terrace were stunning and there was plenty of grass for the children to play on without disturbing the neighbours. The property has it’s own access to the lake, which was great, but it can be a bit slippery climbing down
The kitchen was large, well stocked and exceptionally clean as were the 5 bathrooms
Edoardo couldn’t have been more helpful and responsive, he’s very friendly and always able to quickly answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend him as a host.
The peninsula is a very picturesque spot, but driving through the middle of the historical old town can be a bit hairy, as it is full of pedestrians at almost all times of the day (its ok before 9am unless it is market day) and the roads are a bit snug. -
Lovely location- photos don’t do justice to how pretty the grounds/ view are. Walking distance from town, Roman ruins, beaches, and has lake access. The pool, which is new, was perfect & warm. House was child-safe and had great AC (hard to find in Italy!)
However, the location was also a downside- the house is isolated at the top of the Sirmione peninsula, which means that to get to it, you have to drive through the centre of town- teeny tiny streets absolutely packed full of people (v scary drive). On certain days of the week you are not able to enter/ exit at all. This wouldn’t be a problem if there were supermarkets/ pharmacies etc. on the peninsula- but there aren’t.
Given the isolation, the house should be better stocked. There wasn’t anything in the fridge on arrival, and at one point we had to go out & buy toilet paper! At these prices, you are competing with luxury resorts & we felt more effort should have been made with preparation & stock to make guests comfortable.
