Overview

Set in the hills above Salò, Villa Pinoli is a restored Italian country villa surrounded by private parkland, woodland and olive groves, with sweeping views across Lake Garda.

What makes it work so well for larger groups is the layout. The property is arranged as four independent apartments, plus a dedicated communal space for everyone to gather, dine and relax together. It’s a practical set-up that gives guests privacy and flexibility, while still feeling like one shared stay.

Apartment 1 has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lounge, dining and kitchen area.

Apartment 2 has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lounge, dining and kitchen area.

Apartment 3 is an open space apartment with a double bed on the mezzanine and 2 double sofa beds below. There is 1 bathroom and a small kitchenette space.

Apartment 4 is in the tower and has 1 double bedroom upstairs and a bathroom downstairs.

Apartment 5 is the communal space dedicated to the whole group and offers a kitchen, dining and relax area. There’s a bathroom here also.

Outside, the atmosphere is classic Lake Garda countryside – lawns and gardens around the villa, with terraces for outdoor dining, a barbecue area, a private pool and a large outdoor hot tub for end-of-day soaking with the view.

Location

Villa Pinoli sits above Salò, one of Lake Garda’s most popular year-round towns, with a long lakeside promenade, an excellent choice of restaurants and cafés, and regular ferry connections from the port.

The lakefront and supermarket are both around 1.5 km from the villa, so while Villa Pinoli is not in the centre of Salò, they are certainly reachable on foot. The walk back to the villa is uphill, however, which is worth bearing in mind. Salò’s Saturday market is also within walking distance.

The location works well for guests who would like some freedom from the car during their stay. Cycling is popular in the area, while Salò’s well-connected ferry port offers a lovely way to explore other towns around Lake Garda. We still highly recommend having a vehicle for shopping, day trips and exploring further afield. There is ample private parking at the villa for 6+ vehicles.

Good to know

Only 4 of the 7 bedrooms have air conditioning. Fans are provided in the remaining bedrooms.

At full occupancy, the final 2 guests sleep on sofa beds, which is why Villa Pinoli is best suited to a maximum of 16 adults plus 2 children.

The villa is arranged as 4 connected apartments, with a separate communal kitchen, dining and lounge space for the whole group.

The kitchens are equipped according to the size of each apartment. The main communal kitchen is set up for larger group meals and is the kitchen normally used for chef services.
