With a modern and minimalist design, Villa Roccia is a spacious home built over three floors. Large windows ensure the villa is bright and airy and the incredible views of the lake are the main focal point throughout.
This stunning villa sleeps 8 guests over 4 bedrooms.
The ground floor is a beautiful living space with a dining area and open fireplace and the floor to ceiling windows open onto endless views of the lake and mountains beyond. The fully equipped kitchen opens onto the gardens and outdoor dining area.
The first two double bedrooms are also on this floor and both have ensuite bathrooms. The ground floor also has a guest bathroom.
Head to the first floor via a spiral staircase where there is a cozy second lounge with more spectacular views. The sofas can be turned into two single beds on request and the sleeping area has a double bedroom, twin bedroom and a family bathroom.
The lower floor of the villa features a fantastic private spa with relaxation area, indoor massage pool and a wellness, sensory shower. This floor also offers access to the outdoor infinity pool.
The grounds of the villa, with tendered lawns and private woods, are large and offer tranquility and seclusion. Cool off in the private infinity pool; soak up stunning lake views from the terrace or dine al-fresco in the shaded woods – the choice really is yours.

Villa Roccia is a modern air conditioned villa and has WIFI throughout.
Laundry facilities are also available.
The swimming pool is usually open from mid May to the end of September, depending on the weather.
Access to the villa is via a private road. This is unpaved and narrow so please be aware if driving a very wide or very low vehicle.

Location
Nestled on the outskirts of town, Villa Roccia is in a small village, just a short drive away from Stresa, a bustling town on the shore of Lake Maggiore.
The village itself offers a few excellent restaurants within walking distance of the villa or head to Stresa itself, a glamorous town with narrow streets and plenty of boutiques, cafes and restaurants. The lakefront is home to the ferry port where you can hop on a ferry to visit the wonderful and world famous Borromean Islands.
The railway station in Stresa connects to central Milan, just an hour away and the beautiful city of Turin just an hour and a half away. Alternatively, head to the north of the lake and visit Switzerland.
This villa is around 45 minutes from Milan Malpensa airport, just over 1 hour from Milan Linate and 90 minutes from Milan Bergamo airport.

Amazing villa. The views are stunning. The amenities provided with the furniture, kitchen, linens are all incredibly high quality. The pool and indoor spa and outdoor grilling area are next level. This is a place that you could understand the owner truly took time and care to craft and live in. It’s not just a vacation rental. We loved our stay here and would come back anytime.

We chose to celebrate my husband’s birthday here and it surely did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in we were in awe of the beautiful surroundings and the views. The house itself is perfectly decorated to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Francesca’s recommendations really enhanced our stay. We were able to secure a private chef service (highly recommend to trust Francesca’s suggestions) that was truly few of the best meals we have during our entire stay in Italy. We also booked a car service that could accommodate our entire group (7) sourced via Francesca as well. If we ever return to Lake Maggiore again, there is no doubt we will choose this villa as our home away from home.

We agree with other people who wrote reviews before: in real it’s even more beautiful than on the pictures.
Absolutely stunning view. Could not be more beautiful. The house itself was also really nice, very tasteful and calm. A fully equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms and bathrooms.One thing that was a little bit inconvenient was that the master bathroom just has a bad and no shower, but it was very easy to go downstairs to the spa area which was beautiful and serene and there were two really nice and fancy showers.
Francesca, our host, was sure nice and very responsive.
As thy mentioned in their description of the villa it was a little hard to drive on the hill and through a bridge and walking to restaurants was not possible, but that didn’t matter whatsoever as we were so happy in the villa and did not feel the need to go out a lot! The garden, pool and spa were 10/10!
The whole experience renting this beautiful villa and surroundings could not have been better. Thank you!! -
Simply gorgeous – our stay was just fantastic. Stunning house with gorgeous views. Francesca and Dave were extremely helpful and responsive. The road to the house is a bit narrow as other reviews have said, but entirely doable. We never wanted to leave
