Villa Splendida is a wonderful family villa within walking distance of the quaint village of Manerba del Garda. Recently built, this home has been carefully designed and makes a great base for exploring Lake Garda.
Located within walking distance from both the village centre and lake, Villa Splendida is well positioned to discover the area and when you’re finished exploring, relax around the private pool or sit back and enjoy the views over the lake from the first floor terrace.
Equipped with every comfort, the villa is spread over two levels overlooking the landscaped gardens and pool and sleeps 8 guests over 4 double bedrooms. The ground floor is host to three of the bedrooms and two bathrooms (one of which is ensuite). Head upstairs to the bright and spacious living area with wonderful terrace and lake view. There is a modern, open plan kitchen, well-equipped with dishwasher & coffee machine as well as a guest bathroom. The master bedroom is also upstairs and has its own terrace (with lake view).
For al-fresco dining, head outside to the patio, complete with table, chairs as well as a gas barbecue. The patio opens onto the wonderfully kept gardens where you can take a dip in the private pool or simply relax on one of the deck chairs or sun loungers.
And when you’re ready to sample some local cuisine, head to nearby Montinelle where you’ll find a good selection of restaurants as well as the excellent night market – an evening bustling with life, food and entertainment.

Bedrooms and bathrooms
Four bright and spacious double bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Three bedrooms are on the ground floor as well as two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. The ground floor bedrooms all have access to the garden and swimming pool.
The fourth bedroom, the master suite, is on the first floor and is complete with en-suite bathroom and a terrace with lake view. There is also a guest bathroom on the first floor.
Kitchen
The kitchen is modern and open-plan and fully equipped with dishwasher, oven and Nespresso coffee machine. The ground floor also has kitchenette with fridge and dishwasher, making it ideal for lunches on the patio.
Outdoor dining
There is a dining area on the porch overlooking the swimming pool and is complete with gas barbecue.
Swimming Pool
The private pool has easy access steps as well as a diving board. It’s equipped with sun loungers and parasols and measures 12m x 5m.
Garden
The garden is flat and measures around 1200m2. It’s planted with olive trees and features a bowling green and table tennis.
Good to Know
The three bathrooms each have a spacious shower while the last bathroom has a toilet only.
The villa also has a laundry room with washer dryer, ironing board and iron. Hairdryers are available in each bedroom.
WIFI is included.
Air conditioning is available in the bedrooms.

Villa Splendida is located in Manerba del Garda and is just a 15 minute walk from both the village centre and the lake.
A vehicle is needed here and which will also help you make the most of this wonderful area. The village is within walking distance and does have a small selection of restaurants and cafes.
The villa has a large private parking area for 2 cars and is within the property grounds.
Villa Splendida is just under a 1 hour drive from both Milan Bergamo and Verona airports and is an easy destination to get to. The nearby ports of Moniga and Portese offer good access to the lake ferries, offering an alternative way to explore Lake Garda.

Largely disappointed with both the villa and the information provided before the rental. There was no air conditioning in the main living area of the villa, despite being advertised as air conditioned. In 30 plus degrees, this made it almost unusable – certainly not comfortable. There was no cleaner all week (unusual for a villa rental) – and a very oppressive bin regime for putting different materials out on different days in different coloured containers. Minor point, but the TV had no British programming. The main disappointment though was that despite checking ahead of time that there was places to eat and drink within walking distance – there weren’t. Overall pretty disappointing.

We understand that you feel extra cleaning should have been provided during your stay. Please let us know if one of our team told you that it would be. I have checked your confirmation and it is not showing that housekeeping is included unfortunately.
With regards to rubbish, the disposal system in place is standard in Italy.
We understand that there are no British programs in Italy. British services are now only available within the UK.
We know the area well and as communicated to you, there are in fact a number of restaurants within 1km / 15 minute walk of the home, as well as the small village. We’re disappointed that you feel the information we provided was misleading in any way. We would have happily given you some directions if you had contacted us.

Beautiful garden with a large pool and bocce court! The living area on the upper floor has no air conditioning and gets very hot…

When the reservation we’d been holding for a year got cancelled three weeks before we traveled, we thought our family trip of a lifetime was in jeopardy. Traveling with an 81 year old and a 7 year old, it’s hard to fit everybody’s needs. But this home was available, and ticked every box on paper – and lived up to it in reality.
Great proactive communication (Novella went above and beyond from start to finish), ideal layout to stretch out and suit everyone’s needs, lovely pool, balcony views, air conditioners in every bedroom (not in main space, but just be smart about using shutters and you don’t need one). The camping store is a brief 10 minute walk away for essentials, but otherwise I’d recommend renting a car – this area between Manerba del Garda and Solarolo is out of the heart of things, which makes it perfect, but the ferries are somewhat limited timetable-wise from the location itself.
With a car it’s just a few minutes from the hilltop markets, great restaurants and stunning views of Manerba, and it’s a good midway point to be able to explore both sides of the lake and beyond. Can we come back
