Getting around Lake Maggiore by Ferry

The ferry service on Lake Maggiore is one of the most enjoyable ways to explore the lake, especially if you are planning to visit several towns or spend time around the Borromean Islands. Travelling by boat can be both practical and scenic, and for many guests it is an easier alternative to driving for at least part of the trip. 

Lake Maggiore’s official ferry network includes boat services on different routes around the lake, along with separate ferry services where applicable. As with the other Italian lakes, schedules change seasonally, so it is worth checking the official timetable for your specific dates before making plans.
