Overview

Villa Cedraia is a wonderful private retreat for two, set within the Colago Estate in the hills above Toscolano Maderno and Bogliaco.

The villa is arranged over two floors, with the bedroom and wellness spaces on the garden level and the main living areas above, where large windows and the terrace make the most of the lake views.

The double suite is designed as a comfortable retreat of its own, with a freestanding bathtub.

Step outside and there is a spacious enclosed garden surrounded by greenery, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the lake views. A small private pool is heated throughout the season, with sun loungers nearby for quiet afternoons outside.

What makes Cedraia really special is the private wellness space inside the villa. Alongside the pool, guests have their own Finnish sauna and steam room, so it is easy to spend an entire day here without feeling the need to go anywhere at all.

Despite being designed for just two guests, Cedraia feels like a real private villa rather than a smaller apartment or suite – with its own garden, pool, wellness facilities and generous indoor and outdoor living spaces.

Location

Villa Cedraia sits in the hills above Bogliaco and Toscolano Maderno, on the western shore of Lake Garda.

The setting is peaceful and green, surrounded by the estate’s terraced Mediterranean gardens with olive, lemon and cypress trees. From the villa there are wide views across Lake Garda and the mountains beyond, while Bogliaco Golf lies directly below the estate.

The small lakeside village of Bogliaco, part of Gargnano, is around 3 km away. Here you’ll find a small marina, beach and a small selection of places to eat and drink.

For everyday shopping and a larger choice of restaurants and services, Toscolano Maderno is the closest larger town. A large supermarket is around 4 km away, approximately a 10-minute drive, and Toscolano Maderno also has beaches and a ferry port with connections across Lake Garda.

A car is needed for stays here. The hillside setting is part of the appeal, but the surrounding towns, lakefront and everyday amenities are most easily reached by car.

For guests looking to stay without a vehicle, transfers can be arranged as well as grocery shopping and private chefs.
