Nestled in a vast olive grove, close to the town of Tignale, Villa Montagna sits high on the mountainside and boasts magnificent, sweeping views over Lake Garda below.

This stunning contemporary villa has been lovingly and carefully designed and sitting within an acre of private olive grove almost 400 meters above the water, the estate features some of the finest views of Lake Garda.

A perfect blend of contemporary design and innovation, this stunning, spacious home accommodates 8 guests across four double bedrooms. The villa spreads over two floors and is designed as three independent yet interconnecting living spaces, making this an ideal choice for families and groups travelling together.

The principle living space of Villa Montagna is spread across the ground and upper floor and is the heart of this lake view home. Vast floor to ceiling windows flood the space with natural light and luxury furnishings, bespoke and unique to this home, make for an exceptional villa experience.

The spacious entrance and lobby opens on to the upper floor with a beautiful gallery overlooking the villa and grounds. The lake view balcony with hanging lounger is the ultimate spot for evening aperitivo.

The master bedroom is on this floor and also has magnificent panoramic views of the lake. This floor is also host to the second guest bedroom and both rooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers, with the master bedroom also having a freestanding bath tub.

The gallery opens on to the ground floor below which boasts a beautiful, open-plan living, kitchen and dining space. The living room is complete with complimentary bar area and the unique curved kitchen is a stunning feature and has been created exclusively for Villa Montagna. It is fully equipped and the dining area with large table is perfect for entertaining.

The corner of the lounge offers a wonderful reading snug, a truly special spot in the villa and perfect for gazing out over the garden and lake below.

The two apartments of the house, one on each floor, are both independent living spaces and are complete with kitchenette, bathroom and spacious double bedroom. Both can be accessed from outside but also enjoy direct access to the main living areas of the villa, making this home a perfect choice for families and groups.

The ground floor also boasts a beautiful spa area complete with sauna and massage area. The large sliding windows in the living and spa areas open out on to the terrace and stunning grounds.

Spend lazy days days relaxing amongst the olive trees and cool off with a dip in the jacuzzi. The gardens feature sun islands, loungers and parasols and are the ultimate spot for soaking in the stunning lake views. The covered patio is perfect for al-fresco dining and summer barbecues.

Four double bedrooms, each with bathroom. Two rooms are in the main living space of the house with one bedroom in each of the independent apartments.

Spa

The villa is equipped with a sauna, massage bed and relax area as well as a whirlpool in the garden.

Good to Know

Villa Montagna has air conditioning and WIFI throughout as well as access to the usual media streaming services such as Netflix. There is a laundry area with washing machine and dryer and the bedrooms are complete with hair dryers.

All three living spaces can be accessed from outside, making each private and self-contained. The main part of the house offers the communal areas. The villa is designed for one group and is not available for bookings for the individual spaces.

Please note: For bookings of up to four persons (using two bedrooms in the main villa), the two apartments will not be available. For groups of four persons (or over) wishing to use one or both apartments, these will be opened and are subject to an additional charge. Please see rate information for full details.

The villa has a garden jacuzzi. This is unheated so is available only in the summer months.

Location

Villa Montagna is nestled within a hill top estate in Tignale, almost 400 meters above Lake Garda.

Tignale is a comune formed by a series of villages located between the shores of the lake and up the mountainside to the santuario of Montecastello and beyond.

The villa is just a 10 minutes walk away from the well-known Ristorante al Terrazzo with the centre of the larger village of Gardola around 15 to 20 minutes walk away. There’s a small selection of restaurants here as well as a small supermarket.

The lake and beaches of Porto Tignale and Gargnano are just a 10 – 15 minute drive away with the popular town of Limone Sul Garda around 20 minutes drive.

A vehicle is needed here and there is parking in the villa grounds for up to 5 or 6 vehicles.

The closest airports are Verona (1.5 hours), Milan Bergamo (1 hour 40 minutes) and Milan Linate (1 hour 55 minutes).
