Overview

Villa Olivaia is the largest of the private villas within the Colago Estate, set in the hills above Toscolano Maderno and Bogliaco on the western side of Lake Garda.

Inside, the villa offers around 300 sqm of living space with five spacious double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The bedrooms include a larger principal suite with a Jacuzzi bathtub and a junior suite with a freestanding bath.

The main living areas are designed for spending time together. A large living and dining room provides the main indoor gathering space, while the modern kitchen opens onto a bioclimatic glass pergola, creating a wonderful indoor-outdoor dining area that can be enjoyed in whatever the weather.

There is also a wine cellar, a fully equipped bar area with ice maker, a separate lounge area and a distinctive glass table-football table.

Outside, Villa Olivaia has more than 2,500 sqm of private garden, together with two sundecks, a heated Jacuzzi and private sauna. The villa also has its own gated entrance, fencing and electric vehicle charging point. Steps lead from the villa towards the estate infinity pool.

Location

Villa Olivaia sits in the hills above Bogliaco and Toscolano Maderno, on the western shore of Lake Garda.

With stunning views over the lake and mountains beyond, the setting is peaceful and green and surrounded by the estate’s terraced Mediterranean gardens with olive, lemon and cypress trees. Bogliaco Golf lies directly below the estate.

The small lakeside village of Bogliaco, part of Gargnano, is around 3 km away. Here you’ll find a small marina, beach and a small selection of places to eat and drink.

For everyday shopping and a larger choice of restaurants and services, Toscolano Maderno is the closest larger town. A large supermarket is around 4 km away, approximately a 10-minute drive, and Toscolano Maderno also has beaches and a ferry port with connections across Lake Garda.

A car is needed for stays here. The hillside setting is part of the appeal, but the surrounding towns, lakefront and everyday amenities are most easily reached by car.

For guests looking to stay without a vehicle, transfers can be arranged as well as grocery shopping and private chefs.
