Set in the hills close to the wonderful lakeside town of Garda, Villa Rustico offers families and groups a fantastic retreat for summer stays in the countryside surrounding the beautiful Lake Garda.

Nestled in the hills, this five-bedroom villa is perfect for families and friends holidaying together and is close to the popular lakeside town of Garda. Panoramic views over the green of the hills and blue of the lake offer a superb backdrop while the grounds of the villa, olive grove and private swimming pool provide the location to kick back, relax and enjoy. And when the sun dips, head to town and the lake and enjoy the nearby restaurants, bars and ice cream shops.

Villa Rustico is a traditional Italian home and recently renovated, spreads over two floors and sleeps up to ten guests over six bedrooms. The ground floor is the main living space of this home and with terracotta floors and exposed beams features the living room, kitchen and dining area. Patio doors open out onto the terrace and with an acre of gardens, it’s likely to be the best spot in the house for al-fresco breakfasts and evening barbecues.

Up the stairs on the first floor are the five bedrooms, each one with air conditioning. The first room has a large mezzanine level and features a double bed and two single beds, making it ideal for families. There is also an en-suite bathroom. This floor also has three double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

There are five bedrooms in total with four double rooms and additional twin beds in one of the rooms. There are four bathrooms, three with showers and one with a bathtub as well as a guest toilet.

The first bedroom has a mezzanine level. On the lower level are twin beds. On the mezzanine level, there is a double bed. This room is complete with ensuite bathroom with bathtub.

The second and third bedrooms are both double rooms and each has an ensuite bathroom with shower.

The fourth bedroom faces the lake and is a mezzanine room with double bed. The ensuite bathroom is complete with a bathtub overlooking the lake.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, fridge and dishwasher. There’s a coffee machine too.

Good to Know

Villa Rustico has air conditioning in the bedrooms and for stays in the cooler months, there is central heating. The villa also has a washing machine and there is WIFI throughout.

The swimming pool is private and is usually open from the end of April until the end of September, weather permitting.

The villa has private parking for two cars and is reached along a narrow track that leads to the large gates of the property.

Location

Located on the east coast of Lake Garda, Villa Rustico is near to the bustling and well-known lakeside town of Garda. The town has a great selection of quality restaurants, bars and cafes as well as all the necessary shops for stocking up including a weekly street market through summer.

Although not a remote location, we highly recommend a vehicle for stays at Villa Rustico. The walk to town is around fifteen to twenty minutes but please do note that it is uphill on the way back. Please note that the track leading from the road to the property gates is unpaved. 

Garda has a ferry port where the lake ferries run throughout the day, making for an exciting alternative way to explore Lake Garda. If the fabulous city of Verona is on your wish list, it’s just 40 minutes by car with Venice just 90 minutes away.

Garda is an easy destination to reach with quick travel times from the airports – Verona is 40 minutes away and Milan Bergamo just 1 hr 15 min to 1 hr 30.
