Why we love this villa
Villa Serenella has real estate feeling. It’s the sort of place where the setting, the restoration, and the scale all feel quietly impressive, without ever tipping into “showy”.
- The restoration is beautifully judged: original character, but with the comfort and finish you want at this level
- The main villa + guest house set-up is ideal for larger groups who want togetherness but with real breathing space
- The pool sits in the upper gardens with panoramic lake views that really deliver, from late morning through sunset
Perfect for
- Multi-family groups who want an “estate week” with real space and privacy, inside and out
- Friends’ trips where the villa is the centrepiece
- Groups who value independence (grandparents, older teens or a second family)
- A special-occasion stay where hosting feels easy: terrace meals, pool time, and long evenings in the gardens
Feel free to share your dates and group make-up and we’ll confirm availability and advise on the best fit.
Overview
Villa Serenella is a carefully restored 17th-century estate set just above Torri del Benaco, surrounded by Mediterranean gardens and scenic paths across roughly six acres. The atmosphere is calm and private, with that rare sense of space that you feel as soon as you arrive.
The estate is made up of two adjacent buildings, the main villa and a guest house, each with independent entrances from both the front and the rear. This makes the layout exceptionally practical for larger groups, giving everyone room to settle in without feeling on top of each other.
In the main villa, the ground floor is the social heart: generous living spaces open directly to the wide terrace and gardens, with a dining table for up to 10 and a second smaller dining area in the kitchen. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, and there is also a dedicated billiards room on this level.
The first floor is home to three bedroom suites, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom is a spacious double room and includes a large walk-in wardrobe, with a beautiful en-suite featuring a bathtub. The second master suite enjoys views over the gardens and lake. This floor also includes a sauna.
A separate upstairs section within the main villa offers two further bedrooms: a double room with a walk-in wardrobe and a small twin room. These two rooms share a bathroom with shower, making a particularly useful “family pocket” within the villa.
The guest house is connected to the building yet fully independent. It has a rustic kitchen and dining area on the ground floor, a cosy living area on the first floor, and a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. On the top floor are two double bedroom suites that share a spacious family bathroom.
Outside, the terrace leads into immaculate gardens and up to the private pool in the upper garden, with panoramic lake views. A gazebo up here is set up for dining and lounging, and it’s a wonderful spot for sunset drinks.
Location
Villa Serenella is less than a 10-minute drive from both Torri del Benaco and Garda, and it’s around a 5–10 minute walk to the small village of Albisano, where you’ll find a couple of local restaurants including a traditional osteria and a pizzeria (both roughly 500 metres away).
Although the villa isn’t remote, Albisano has limited services and a vehicle is necessary for day-to-day ease, shopping runs and exploring.
The villa has covered parking for up to 4 cars, plus around 5 additional open spaces.
The villa is approximately 40 minutes from Verona Airport and just under 90 minutes from Milan Bergamo Airport, with the main Milan – Venice motorway around 30 minutes away.

The small twin room is best suited to children, and it works particularly well paired with the adjacent double bedroom, as they share a dressing room and bathroom.
Albisano is a short walk, but it is a small village with limited services, so a vehicle is necessary for stays here.
Laundry facilities are available, and cots/highchairs can be provided on request.
