In 1956, Cortina hosted the very first edition of the Winter Olympics in Italy and 70 years later, in 2026, it will once again be host to the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics.
In the western Dolomites, our chalets in Ortisei and Val Gardena offer access to the famous Sellaronda circuit. One of the best-known ski routes in the world, the celebrated Sellaronda tour takes in four Dolomites passes and covers a distance of 40km, 27km of which are pure skiing.
Some of the finest skiing in Italy can be found in the Italian Alps. Sitting on the French, Italian and Swiss border, these ski resorts offer sunny slops and thanks to their high altitude, fantastic snow cover.
Located in the Aosta Valley and on the Italian side of the Matterhorn, Chalet Neve in Cervinia is perfect for skiiers of all abilities and with access to the nearby Zermatt ski area, it makes for a wonderful choice for a winter holiday in the Alps.
