Overview

The Villa Rose & Saffron Estate is a wonderful, exclusive, hillside estate nestled in the hills above Toscolano Maderno. Thanks to its location, it offers some of the most spectacular, panoramic views over Lake Garda and is surrounded by ancient olive trees and beautifully landscaped gardens.

The quaint hamlet of Gaino is just a few minutes walk away and has a lovely traditional restaurant offering some great local dishes and an impressive wine menu.

The estate provides accommodation for up to 18 guests across two beautiful adjoining villas, Villa Juliet Rose, sleeping up to 8 and Villa Saffron, sleeping up to 10.

Both villas boast luxury interiors and breathtaking views over the lake! The Juliet Rose sleeps 6 guests over three elegant double suites and Villa Saffron sleeps 8 guests over four double rooms. All the bedrooms are en-suite and both villas can accommodate a further two single beds each, on request.

Built facing the lake, the villas have wonderful living and dining areas and kitchens with all the mod-cons. There’s everything you need to whip up a local pasta dish and if you don’t fancy cooking, let one of our private chefs do all the hard work for you. They can prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner and even a summer barbecue.

The villas are both air conditioned, offering a perfect escape from the midday sun and one of our favourite features has to be the hotel standard spa in The Juliet Rose, complete with Finnish sauna and jacuzzi.

If that isn’t enough, both villas have an outdoor jacuzzi too and swimming pool – an absolutely perfect way to soak up some summer sun. The gardens take full advantage of the beautiful scenery and wonderful views of Lake Garda; with fabulous flower beds, immaculately kept lawns and not to mention the ancient olive trees that still produce a wonderful DOP extra virgin olive oil…certainly worth a taste.

Good to Know

You’ll have a wonderful welcome hamper waiting for you on arrival and every morning, fresh bread and croissants are dropped off…a perfect accompaniment to a freshly brewed coffee and a glorious way to start the day.

You receive an iPad at the beginning of your stay which contains a personalised app of the villa with tips, useful info and lots more to really help you make the most of your stay. There’s free WIFI through the villa and an iPod docking station too so don’t forget to bring your favourite playlist.

Location

The Juliet Rose is an exclusive hillside villa and is around 3km away from the town of Toscolano Maderno. The hamlet of Gaino is a short walk away and does have a great restaurant but you will need a vehicle here. There is parking within the villa grounds.

There is a helicopter service available for stays at this villa – it’s the ultimate sightseeing experience and a wonderful way to travel from the airport. The helicopter can land in the garden of the villa and car hire can be arranged for you to collect directly when you arrive.

The Juliet Rose is located on the south west coast of Lake Garda above the town of Toscolano Maderno. It is a great base for exploring Lake Garda and ferries leave the port here regularly, making for a great way to visit other towns around the lake. There is the car ferry too which is a lovely alternative to reach the east coast of Lake Garda.
