- Wide lake views across Lake Garda
- Single-level layout with the main rooms opening directly to the terrace
- Private pool and lake-facing terrace
- Sleeps up to 8, with 3 en-suite double bedrooms plus a TV room with sofa bed for children
- Contemporary eco-friendly design with underfloor heating and cooling
- Peaceful hillside setting near Brenzone, Malcesine and Torri del Benaco
Why we love this villa
- Villa Stella is a calm, peaceful villa with a single-level layout that makes it easy to live in, while the floor-to-ceiling windows keep the lake view present throughout the day.
- The terrace is the standout here. It runs the full length of the villa, so the inside and outside spaces connect naturally and the whole house feels oriented towards the lake.
- It is also a good option for guests who like privacy and who want something more contemporary.
Perfect for
- Families or friends looking for a peaceful lake-view villa with a more modern feel.
- Guests who want privacy, outside space and wide-open views, but do not need to be close to town.
- Smaller groups who will appreciate three proper en-suite bedrooms, with an additional children’s sleeping space in the TV room.
- Larger stays when paired with Villa Girasole on the same estate.

Overview
Villa Stella is set in the hills above Castelletto di Brenzone on Lake Garda’s eastern shore, in a quiet position with uninterrupted lake views. Carefully designed as an eco-friendly home, it has a cleaner, more contemporary feel than many traditional Lake Garda villas, with a strong emphasis on light, openness and connection to the terrace and views beyond.
The villa is arranged across one main level and sleeps up to 8 guests across 3 double bedroom suites. The TV room can also be used as a fourth sleeping space with a full-sized and comfortable sofa bed, though this is best reserved for children.
The heart of the house is the open living area, where the sitting room, dining space and modern kitchen all sit together facing the lake. Large glass doors bring in the view and open directly onto the terrace, making this an easy villa for slow breakfasts, relaxed afternoons and evenings spent outside.
The terrace and garden are a major part of the appeal. There is a private pool, plenty of room for outside dining, a barbecue and shaded areas under the olive trees. For guests who want a peaceful, villa-led stay in a more contemporary setting, Villa Stella is a wonderful choice.
Location
Villa Stella is above Castelletto di Brenzone on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. Castelletto is a small lakeside village with a handful of restaurants, a small supermarket and ferry stops during the summer.
There is an old Roman path that runs past the villa and heads down to Castelletto or up towards Prada. The walk to the village takes around 15 minutes, but it is steep and follows a stone path, so it is better thought of as an occasional scenic walk rather than the practical everyday route.
In day-to-day terms, a car is required here. The villa is around 5km by car from Castelletto, and the final access is via a steep gravel road of around 600 metres. Guests should be comfortable driving, and a sturdy vehicle is strongly recommended.
Parking is available at the villa.
For exploring further afield, Malcesine and Torri del Benaco are both around 15 minutes away by car. Verona Airport is around 1 hour away, while Milan Bergamo Airport is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes away.

Good to know
The villa sits within the same estate as Villa Girasole, along with a separate private home. Each property is independent, and the owners live around 200 metres away, available if needed but without disturbing guests during their stay.
A car is essential here. The final approach road is steep and gravelled, so guests should be comfortable driving and we strongly recommend a sturdy vehicle.
Villa Stella has underfloor heating and cooling, as well as an automated air circulation and filter system, rather than conventional bedroom-by-bedroom air-conditioning units.
The TV room sofa bed can be used as a fourth sleeping space, but it is best suited to children rather than adults.
The garden has some unfenced walls and drops, so children should be supervised outside at all times.
Wi-Fi is available, and there is also a laundry room.
This villa can also be booked alongside Villa Girasole for larger combined stays on the same estate.
Experiences
Villa Stella suits a slower, more relaxed Lake Garda stay where the villa itself is a large part of the experience. It is easy to imagine unhurried mornings on the terrace, a late lunch at the house, and afternoons split between the pool and outings along the eastern shore.
For groups staying here, pre-stocking, a first-evening meal or one carefully chosen chef night would all work particularly well, letting everyone settle in straight away without needing to head back down the hill.
For guests who do want to explore further, Brenzone, Malcesine and Torri del Benaco are all within easy reach by car, and nearby ferry connections make it possible to discover other parts of the lake as well.

Our stay was simply a dream come true. We felt welcome immediately upon arrival, and this feeling continued throughout our entire stay. The accommodation itself is beautifully situated, designed with great attention to detail and exudes a pleasant tranquility. Everything was very clean, well-maintained, and exactly as you would want it for a relaxing break. A very special thank you goes to the landlady Maibrit and her parents. The hospitality was exceptionally warm; you really felt like you weren’t just a guest, but welcomed like a friend. This personal and warm manner made the stay special and clearly elevated it above a “normal” accommodation. We would come back anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend Villa Stella. If you are looking for peace and quiet, a beautiful setting and genuine hospitality, this is the place for you.
