Overview

Agape is one of three independent apartments within Ca dela Nua, a carefully restored historic limonaia set directly on the shores of Lake Garda near Limone.

The estate has more than 300 years of history, with the original lemon-growing terraces and stone structures still forming the character of the property today. The three apartments have been restored within this setting, each with its own private outdoor space.

Agape sits on the middle level of the limonaia and sleeps up to four guests. The apartment is arranged over two floors and has bright, understated interiors, with large windows drawing in the views over the gardens and lake.

There is one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, together with two bathrooms. The main living space is open-plan, combining the kitchen, dining and sitting areas, and opens directly towards the private garden.

The garden is one of Agape’s strongest features: a long private lawned terrace with sun loungers, parasol, outdoor seating, dining area and barbecue. From here, the path down to the lake is the shortest of the three apartments.

At lake level, guests share access to Ca dela Nua’s private bathing jetty, where you can swim directly in Lake Garda or simply sit by the water. The limonaia gardens also contain the shared whirlpool and sauna, while massages can be arranged on site.

Location

Agape sits within Ca dela Nua just outside Limone sul Garda, directly beside the lake and the panoramic cycle and pedestrian path.

Limone is around 1.5–2km away and can be reached on foot in around 15–20 minutes. The route follows the lakeside path and brings you into town for restaurants, cafés, shops and the ferry port.

The setting itself is peaceful and removed from the busier centre, which is a large part of the appeal.

A car is still useful for exploring beyond Limone. The final stretch of the drive follows the cycle and pedestrian route, so arrival and departure times are controlled to avoid the busiest periods.

Ca dela Nua is just under 2 hours from Milan Bergamo airport and just under 90 minutes from Verona.

Agape is one of three independent apartments within Ca dela Nua. Each apartment has its own private garden, while the bathing jetty, lake access, sauna and whirlpool are shared between guests staying at the property.

There is no swimming pool. Swimming is directly in Lake Garda from the private jetty.

The route from Agape down to the lake passes through the terraced gardens and includes a number of steps. The wider property is not fully wheelchair accessible.

The apartment has air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living area.

Each apartment has its own private two-car garage. Access to the garage is via a car lift, and electric-vehicle charging is available.

The final stretch of the approach is along the cycle and pedestrian route, so standard check-in is between 17:00 and 19:00 and check-out between 08:30 and 10:00 to avoid the busiest times on the path.

Pets are accepted on request.

Ca dela Nua is suitable for guests aged 10 and over.

Experiences

Agape works best for a slower northern Lake Garda stay where the lake itself is part of the everyday routine.

Start the morning with a swim from the private jetty, walk into Limone for lunch or the ferry, then return to the garden for a quieter afternoon.

Private boat trips, e-foil lessons, massages and other local experiences can also be arranged, while the cycling and walking route outside the property gives easy access to more of the northern shoreline.
