Overview

Ca dela Nua is a restored historic limonaia set directly above Lake Garda, just outside Limone sul Garda.

The original terraced gardens and stone structures were created for growing citrus fruit, using the sheltered lakefront position to protect lemon and orange trees. Those terraces remain a defining part of the estate today, with citrus, old walls and panoramic lake views surrounding the accommodation.

When the entire property is booked, Agape, Alba and Antea are reserved together, giving a group of up to 12 guests exclusive use of the three apartments and wider estate setting.

The three apartments are independent rather than connected internally. Each has two bedrooms, its own kitchen and living space, air conditioning and private outdoor areas.

Across the estate there are six bedrooms and five bathrooms in total.

That layout is one of the property’s biggest advantages for the right group. Grandparents, couples or different family units can each have their own space, while still sharing the gardens, wellness facilities and lake access.

Paths wind down through the terraces towards the water. At lake level, the private bathing jetty can be used for swimming, relaxing by the water or even morning yoga.

There is no swimming pool. Instead, guests swim directly in Lake Garda.

The estate also has a sauna and whirlpool overlooking the lake, while massages and other wellness treatments can be arranged.

The three apartments

Agape

Agape sits on the middle level of the estate and sleeps up to four guests.

It offers around 110m² of accommodation with one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and two bathrooms. The open-plan kitchen and living area opens towards a large private garden with sun loungers, outdoor dining and barbecue.

Agape also has the shortest route of the three apartments down towards the lake.

Alba

Alba is the largest of the three apartments, with around 130m² of accommodation arranged over two floors.

The upper level contains the open-plan kitchen and living area and opens onto a private balcony with panoramic lake views. The bedrooms sit on the lower floor, while Alba also has its own private garden.

Antea

Antea sits higher within the estate and has a quieter, more elevated position.

It offers around 110m² of accommodation for four guests, with one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one bathroom. The apartment has its own private entrance, a large terrace with lake views and a separate private garden.

Location

Ca dela Nua sits directly beside Lake Garda just outside Limone sul Garda, on the north-western shore.

The estate is positioned beside the panoramic cycle and pedestrian path. Limone is around 1.5–2km away and can be reached on foot in approximately 15–20 minutes, giving guests easy access to restaurants, cafés, shops and the ferry port.

Limone’s ferry connections make it easy to explore other parts of Lake Garda without driving every day, including services across to Malcesine.

The setting itself is peaceful and removed from the busier centre, which is a large part of the appeal.

A car is still useful for exploring beyond Limone. The final stretch of the drive follows the cycle and pedestrian route, so arrival and departure times are controlled to avoid the busiest periods.

Ca dela Nua is just under 2 hours from Milan Bergamo airport and just under 90 minutes from Verona.

Good to know

Ca dela Nua is made up of three independent apartments rather than one large connected villa. Each has its own kitchen, living room and private outdoor space. There is no single indoor living or dining room designed for all 12 guests to gather together.

There is no swimming pool. Swimming is directly in Lake Garda from the estate’s private bathing jetty.

The property is built into a historic terraced limonaia and includes a substantial number of steps. The route to the water passes down through the gardens, and Antea sits highest within the property. Guests should be comfortable with steps and changes of level.

The bathing jetty, sauna and whirlpool are shared between the three apartments when they are booked individually. When the entire property is reserved exclusively, they are for the use of your group.

Each apartment has air conditioning in its bedrooms and living area.

Each apartment has its own two-car garage, reached using the property’s car lift. Electric vehicle charging is available.

The final approach to Ca dela Nua uses a short section of the cycle and pedestrian path, so standard check-in is between 17:00 and 19:00 and check-out between 08:30 and 10:00.

Pets are accepted on request and subject to an additional charge.

Start the morning with a swim from the jetty, walk into Limone for lunch or take the ferry across the lake, then return for a quieter afternoon in the gardens or whirlpool.
