Overview

Alba is one of three independent apartments within Ca dela Nua, a restored historic limonaia set directly on Lake Garda just outside Limone.

The apartment is the largest of the three, offering around 130m² of internal space and arranged over two floors.

The upper floor contains the main open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Large windows frame the lake and gardens, and the living space opens onto a private balcony where you can sit outside and take in the view.

The two bedrooms and bathrooms are on the lower floor. There is one double bedroom and one twin room, both looking towards the lake.

Outside, Alba also has its own private garden with sun loungers, a sitting area, outdoor dining and barbecue.

From the gardens, paths lead down through the terraces to Ca dela Nua’s shared bathing jetty, where you can swim directly in Lake Garda. Guests also have access to the shared whirlpool and sauna.

Location

Alba sits within Ca dela Nua just outside Limone sul Garda, directly beside the lake and the panoramic cycle and pedestrian path.

Limone is around 1.5–2km away and can be reached on foot in around 15–20 minutes. The route follows the lakeside path and brings you into town for restaurants, cafés, shops and the ferry port.

The setting itself is peaceful and removed from the busier centre, which is a large part of the appeal.

A car is still useful for exploring beyond Limone. The final stretch of the drive follows the cycle and pedestrian route, so arrival and departure times are controlled to avoid the busiest periods.

Ca dela Nua is just under 2 hours from Milan Bergamo airport and just under 90 minutes from Verona.

Good to know

Alba is one of three independent apartments within Ca dela Nua. Each apartment has its own private outdoor space, while the bathing jetty, lake access, sauna and whirlpool are shared between guests staying at the property.

There is no swimming pool. Swimming is directly in Lake Garda from the private bathing jetty.

Alba is arranged over two floors, so guests should be comfortable using stairs.

The route down through the gardens to the lake also includes steps, and the wider limonaia is not fully wheelchair accessible.

Air conditioning is available in both bedrooms and the living area.

Each apartment has its own private two-car garage. Access is via a car lift, and electric-vehicle charging is available.

The final stretch of the approach is along the cycle and pedestrian route. Standard check-in is between 17:00 and 19:00 and check-out between 08:30 and 10:00.

Pets are accepted on request and subject to a surcharge.

Ca dela Nua is suitable for guests aged 10 and over.

Experiences

Alba works well for a slower northern Lake Garda stay, where swimming, walking into Limone and spending time at the property can form the core of the week.

Start the day with a swim from the bathing jetty, walk into Limone for lunch or take the ferry across the lake, then come back for an evening drink on the balcony.

Private boat trips, massages, e-foil lessons and other local experiences can also be arranged, while the panoramic walking and cycling route outside the property gives easy access to more of the northern shoreline.

It is a useful option if you want to stay by the lake for the evening rather than head back into Limone.
