Sitting on the shores of Lake Garda, Villa Golfo is a unique private villa to rent close to the popular lake town of Salò. A new and modern villa, Villa Golfo boasts stunning views over the gulf of Salò and features direct and private access to the beach.

Fantastic lake views, wonderful interiors and within walking distance to the town make this villa unique and the location offers a truly wonderful stay in one of Lake Garda’s most picturesque areas.

A brand new property, the villa boasts a blend of modern architecture and attention to detail and is spread over two levels and accommodates 8 guests across three bedrooms and a double sofa bed. Designed as two independent and private living spaces, these spaces are interconnecting by both internal and external staircases, making Villa Golfo an ideal choice for families and groups holidaying together.

The principle living space is on the ground floor and is the heart of this lakeview home. Large floor to ceiling windows flood the villa with light and lake views. The large living room and dining area open out on to the patio and with a large gas barbecue, it makes for a wonderful al-fresco dining spot overlooking the lake. There is a fully equipped, modern kitchen and the ground floor is also host to the first of the three bedrooms.

This bedroom is a double ensuite room and overlooks the pool and the lake. The bathroom has two entrances, one through the anteroom from the living area and another directly from the bedroom.

Head upstairs to the first floor and the other two double bedrooms. One room has an ensuite bathroom and views over the lake while the other has lake views and opens on to the terrace. This floor also boasts a lounge area, small kitchenette and a second family bathroom.

Step outside and relax in the beautifully kept gardens or kick back and cool off in the private swimming pool – the perfect spot to while away sun-soaked afternoons.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, two of which are ensuite.

On the ground floor there is a double en-suite bedroom overlooking the lake and the swimming pool. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms: one with en-suite bathroom and lake view and one with lake view and terrace.

The living area on the first floor has a double sofa bed. 

Kitchen

There are two kitchens in the home. On the ground floor, the main kitchen is fully equipped and includes an oven and dishwasher as well as Nespresso coffee machine. There is a small, functional kitchenette on the first floor.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is complete with sun loungers and lake views and measures 8m x 3m.

Good to Know

Villa Golfo has air conditioning in the bedrooms and living area and WIFI access throughout. The villa is best suited to 6 adults and 2 children and in addition to the 3 double bedrooms, there is a double sofa bed in the first floor living area.

At full capacity, two guests will be sleeping on the double sofa bed.

There is a laundry area with washing machine and dryer and the bedrooms are complete with hair dryers.

Location

Overlooking the Golf of Salò, Villa Golfo is in prime position and is a great option if you want to explore this wonderful area. Offering private access to the beach, the villa is close and within walking distance to the popular lake side town of Salò.

Salò is a lively town with a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The beaches are popular with the locals and the town boasts a wonderful lakeside promenade, almost 3km in length and the only one of its kind on Lake Garda.

The start of the Salò promenade and beaches are around 15 minutes walk away with the centre and ferry port around 30 minutes walk along the lake. Also within walking distance is the quaint hamlet of Portese offering a selection of excellent local restaurants.

Both Portese and Salò have ferry ports and are well connected, offering an excellent way to explore more of Lake Garda.

We do recommend having a vehicle for stays at Villa Golfo but it is not remote and does have a good selection of restaurants within walking distance. During the summer, there are two just a few minutes walk from the villa with some other options 20 to 30 minutes walk away.

Just 30 minutes drive from the main A4 Milan-Venice motorway, Villa Golfo is about a 1 hour drive from both Milan Bergamo Airport and Verona Airport.

The villa has a large private garage for 1 or 2 cars, plus an uncovered parking space inside the property for up to 2 cars.
