Our villas are private holiday homes that can sometimes host small private events, rather than dedicated wedding venues. That distinction matters because availability, guest numbers, music, suppliers and minimum stays all depend on the individual villa and the owner’s rules.
Most wedding and celebration stays in summer are booked as full villa stays, usually for 7 nights from Saturday to Saturday. Shorter stays are sometimes possible outside peak season, but one- or two-night event bookings are rarely the right fit.
Events are only permitted at selected villas and always subject to owner approval. If you share your dates and a little about what you are planning, we can guide you towards the villas that are genuinely suitable and confirm what may be possible.
For many guests, a villa celebration is about much more than the event itself. Rather than hiring a venue for a single day, a villa stay allows everyone to spend time together across several days – enjoying the lake, the pool, shared meals and the celebration itself in a much more relaxed way.
That is why these stays often work best for intimate weddings, symbolic ceremonies, milestone birthdays, anniversaries and family occasions where the villa stay is as important as the event.
Usually not. Most villas require a minimum stay and, during the summer season, this is typically 7 nights. In shoulder season, some villas may occasionally allow 5-night stays, but shorter bookings are rare. The villa stay is the main booking, with the event built around it.
No. Events are generally only permitted in conjunction with a villa rental. We do not offer venue-only bookings.
Only a small number. Most villas in this collection are better suited to more intimate weddings, symbolic ceremonies, family celebrations and private events with a limited number of guests. If you are planning a larger event, please do share your numbers and we can advise honestly on whether we have a suitable option.
Event fees vary by property, but they typically start from around €2,500. This usually covers permission to host the event, use of the villa grounds and the additional administration involved. It does not usually include catering, furniture hire, flowers, music, planning or permits.
We do not provide wedding planning or catering directly. Once a suitable villa has been selected, we can usually introduce trusted local planners, chefs, caterers and other suppliers, depending on the property and the type of event you are planning.
Usually yes, but always subject to villa approval. Some owners are flexible, while others may have preferred arrangements or practical restrictions depending on the property.
This depends entirely on the villa. Some properties allow background music or limited live music, while others are more restricted because they are private homes, often near neighbours. If music is important to your plans, it is best to mention this at the start so we can guide you properly.
Sometimes, but not always. This depends on the villa, the number of overnight guests, the total event numbers and the type of celebration. It is one of the main points we need to confirm early.
The villa is only one part of the overall cost. In addition to the villa rental, most celebrations also involve an event fee, catering, flowers, furniture hire, photography, music, planning and transport. Final budgets vary considerably depending on guest numbers and the style of event, so we are usually only able to guide on the villa side first.
