Overview

Villa Raffaela is a lakeside villa near Port of Torchio in Manerba del Garda, set in a generous garden of ancient olive trees with lake views and a private pool.

The villa was created in the late 1960s by architect Bruno Fedrigolli and has a distinctive design-led feel, with open living spaces and a strong connection to the outdoors.

One of the villa’s most practical strengths is its layout. It is divided into two connected parts, each of which can work as an independent living space while still forming one home. This makes it particularly well suited to multiple families holidaying together, or groups who want a little more privacy within the stay.

Inside you’ll find multiple lounge areas, two fully equipped kitchens and dining spaces that work well for a larger group. Outside, the covered patio is set up for long, relaxed meals with the lake as the backdrop.

The gardens lead down to a private gate with access to the lake. The shoreline here is rocky rather than a beach, so it’s more “wild swim” than sandy entry, but it’s a special feature to have in this area.

Location

The villa is ideally placed for easy days without over-planning, with Port of Torchio around 400m away for excellent restaurants, a café/gelateria and boat hire.

Isola dei Conigli is around 200m away via the bridge, a lovely nature spot for a gentle walk or picnic.

Montinelle village is around 1.5km away for additional restaurants, small shops and local services.

You’re also close to Pisenze beach and the Rocca di Manerba trails, which offer one of the best viewpoints on the lake.

We recommend a vehicle for shopping runs and day trips, although the port area is very walkable. Parking is available on site with covered and uncovered spaces inside the gates.

The villa is about a 1 hour drive to both Milan Bergamo Airport and Verona Airport.

Good to know

The villa has a private gate giving access to the lake, but the shoreline is rocky rather than a beach, so care is needed when entering the water.

This is a design-led home with character, and some elements reflect the original period, which is part of the villa’s charm.

Laundry facilities are available, and hairdryers are provided.

Experiences

Villa Raffaela is made for an easy Lake Garda rhythm: slow mornings in the olive garden, a swim, then down to Port of Torchio for an aperitivo or dinner.

A boat day works beautifully from Port of Torchio – it’s close enough that you can head out in the afternoon, then come back for a late swim and dinner on the covered terrace.

If you’d like a “different” day out, Rocca di Manerba is nearby for one of the best viewpoints on the lake, followed by a long, relaxed lunch back at the villa.
