Overview

Villa Rocchetta Estate is a stunning country estate and historic olive grove, nestled in the hills above Salò on Lake Garda’s southwest coast. Spanning twenty hectares on the sloping hills, the estate is a haven of beauty, tranquility and elegance and offers a wonderful and unique location in one of Lake Garda’s most sought-after regions.

Passionately designed, Villa Rocchetta Estate is an elegant home and is composed of the main house and dependance. The two areas of the home are joined by a wonderful, bright veranda and accommodate 12 guests over six bedroom suites.

The heart of this stunning home is on the ground floor which hosts the living area and bright dining room and which opens on to the sunniest of the villas portici. There is a fully equipped kitchen on this floor as well as the study.

The upper floor boasts four bedrooms; three double rooms and a twin room with bunk bed. Every bedroom has a private bathroom and each is air conditioned.

The dependance offers a further two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and the rooms are air conditioned. It also boasts a living area as well as a fully equipped kitchen.

Step outside to the two verandas overlooking the gardens. Designed for outdoor living, the terraces are furnished with lounge area and a dining table, making them the perfect locations for morning coffee, evening meals or simply relaxing amongst the greenery. There is a wood-burning barbecue too.

For lazy days, the villa boasts a wonderful private pool and is complete with sun loungers and parasols. The estate is completely fenced and the grounds are filled with firs, centuries-old olive trees as well as an array of rare plants and mediterranean flowers. In the garden there is a table-tennis table, bowling green as well as a five-a-side football pitch.

Sleeps

Up to 12-14 guests (maximum 12 adults and 2 infants). At full occupancy, 2 guests will be sleeping in the twin room with bunk bed.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

There are 6 bedrooms in total; four rooms in the main house and two in the dependance.

The main house boasts 3 double bedrooms and a twin, bunk room. The dependance has 2 double bedrooms. All bedrooms have their own bathroom and are air conditioned. There is a guest bathroom on the ground floor of the main villa.

Each bathroom has a shower and is equipped with hair dryer.

Kitchen

The villa has a modern, spacious kitchen, fully equipped and includes dishwasher and oven. There is an equipped kitchen also in the dependance.

Good to Know

Guests are welcomed on arrival by the owners of this home and who are on hand during your stay for any assistance.

The main villa and dependance are accessed by the same veranda and both buildings have their own entrance. They are therefore connected yet independant.

All bedrooms are air conditioned.

The gardens and pool are maintained on a daily basis. The pool is chlorine-free.

There is a laundry room in the main home and has a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.

Cots and highchairs are available, on request.

Pets are accepted at this home.

Location

The Villa Rocchetta Estate is in a magnificent area of Lake Garda and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, it offers a wonderful escape to nature. Just a 5 minute drive from the centre of the pretty village of San Felice del Benaco as well as the bustling lakeside town of Salò, Villa Rocchetta Estate is a fabulous base to explore this wonderful area of Lake Garda.

A vehicle is necessary for stays at this villa although the village of San Felice, together with a selection of restaurants is around 1.8km away (approximately 25 minutes walk). The owners of the villa are happy to help arrange taxis on request and there is covered parking on the property for up to 6 vehicles.

The ferry port at Portese is just under 5km away (10 minutes drive), offering an alternative way to explore Lake Garda while the nearest beaches in San Felice are just 3.5km away.

Villa Rocchetta Estate is around 1 hour drive from both Milan Bergamo and Verona airports and is an easy destination to reach.
