Overview

Villa Navelli Estate is a traditional Italian country estate in the hills above Lake Garda, set within 13 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and parkland. It’s close to Salò on the south-west shore, but once you’re on the estate it feels wonderfully quiet and self-contained – a real haven for families and groups holidaying together.

The home is arranged as a main house and an annex, which connect internally. The main house is set over three floors and is designed for shared time: a spacious living level with two dining areas, a comfortable lounge with ornamental fireplace, and a large built-in kitchen, plus a pantry and guest bathroom on the same floor.

Upstairs, the first floor includes a study, two double bedrooms with en-suite shower bathrooms, and a wellness area with Finnish sauna. The top attic floor is configured as a family suite: a twin bedroom with joinable beds, a reading room, and a double-bed sleeping space that is open to the suite (without a door), plus a bathroom with bathtub.

The annex sits beside the main house with its own entrance. It includes a living area with kitchenette, a ground-floor double bedroom with en-suite shower bathroom, and upstairs a further double bedroom, a twin bedroom with joinable beds, and a shared shower bathroom – ideal if part of your group would like a little more independence while still feeling together.

Outside is where Villa Navelli Estate really comes into its own. Step out to the panoramic terrace for aperitivo, or take long lunches under the covered portico, which has its own dining area, wood oven and barbecue. A cobbled path leads down through the grounds to the tennis court and multi-purpose pitch, with a rustic clubhouse that works well as a changing room (and includes a bathroom). And dotted around the estate you’ll find quiet corners for reading, plus a viewpoint gazebo for morning coffee with the lake below.

Location

Villa Navelli Estate is nestled in the hills above Lake Garda, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, about 5km from the lake and the town of Salò. Salò is known for its long lakeside promenade and is lively year-round, with shops, restaurants, cafés and a beach popular with locals.

A vehicle is essential at this home, and there is parking on the property. The A4 Milan–Venice motorway is around 30 minutes away, with Verona and Milan Bergamo airports around an hour’s drive.

Guests are welcomed on arrival, and a caretaker is on hand if you need assistance during your stay.

The caretaker lives in a separate property adjacent to the main building with independent access, and discreetly maintains the villa, park and pool while leaving guests in complete privacy.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the home.

There’s a laundry area with washing machine and ironing facilities.

Cots and highchairs are available on request, and pets are welcome.

Between November and April, heating is charged extra (confirmed at booking).

Please note that access to the vineyards is not permitted.
