Villa Minerva is a prestigious estate, nestled in 5 acres of wonderful parkland overlooking fabulous Lake Garda. Set in the hills between Toscolano Maderno and Gargnano, the villa is in the small village of Cecina and is within easy walking distance to the village’s two restaurants and small grocery store. Venture 5 minutes or so by car and you’ll be in the popular lakeside town of Toscolano, offering great beaches and a selection of restaurants, bars and shops.
Divided into three areas (a large apartment with 6 bedrooms and two studio apartments), Villa Minerva is a fantastic choice for families or friends travelling together. The villa accommodates up to 18 guests over 8 double bedrooms. The first floor is host to 4 double rooms with views over the gardens; on the second floor, there are 2 bright and spacious double rooms with views of the lake and these both have air conditioning and ensuite bathroom; the two studio apartments are located on the first and second floor respectively, both with double bedrooms, air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. These also boast lovely views over the lake and grounds of the villa.
The kitchen is on the ground floor and is equipped with all major and minor appliances. There are also two small kitchens located in the two studio apartments.
Our favourite feature of Villa Minerva is the wonderful porch and barbecue area. There is both a stone bbq and gas cooker making this a great place to dine al-fresco and while away the warm Italian evenings.
The villa has a lovely private swimming pool, an excellent spot for all-day fun or even just a quick dip before dinner and is complete with sunloungers and hammocks. It’s also surrounded by 5 acres of gardens, complete with olive grove and pond, making Villa Minerva a great choice for kids and pets alike.

There are 8 bathrooms in the villa, all with showers. 4 bathrooms are en-suite (two with the bedrooms on the second floor; one in each of the studio apartments) and 2 are on the ground floor in the laundry room.
Kitchen
There is a comfortable kitchen on the ground floor and the two studio apartments also have a small kitchen each.
Swimming Pool
The private pool is approximately 8m x 2.5m and has a maximum depth of 140cm.
Good to Know
There is air conditioning in the two double rooms on the second floor and the two double rooms in the studio apartments. The four double rooms on the first floor all have fans.
There are two laundry rooms at the villa with washing machine and ironing facilities.

Location
Just a few minute drive to the lakeside town of Toscolano Maderno, Villa Minerva is within walking distance to the small village of Cecina, host to two restaurants and a small grocery store. Toscolano Maderno is a lovely lakeside town and there’s plenty here from bars and restaurants to shops and the lake ferries – a great way to explore other must-see towns around Lake Garda.
This area is really well located near to some of Lake Garda’s most popular towns and villages – Salò is around 15 minutes drive and has the longest lakeside promenade along Lake Garda.
A vehicle is essential for a stay at this villa and there is private parking within the villa grounds.
Villa Minerva is around 1 hour 20 minutes from Milan Bergamo and Verona airports.

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful villa! We were a large group of 12, and it was the perfect size to accommodate all of us. The location is very good, very close to Toscolano Maderno, and it was easy to get to hiking, biking, ferries, beautiful, small towns on the lake, and excellent restaurants in Salò. The owners were incredibly helpful, even quickly buying a replacement refrigerator when one of the two refrigerators was broken. The agency was very responsive and helpful, in the house had everything we needed. The kids loved having a pool, though we often found it just as nice to go down to a beach along the lake. The only thing I would recommend to any visitor of the house is to make sure you take the correct road into the house, or if you wish to take some of the smaller back roads, you get a smaller car… We found that we could not take the most direct route into Toscano, as some of the Roads that went over the mountain and down towards Toscolano/Salò where too tight for the average size German car. This is not much of a problem since the alternative route only takes an extra 5 to 10 minutes, but it gave us a little bit of an adventure when we discovered this on our first day! We loved our stay, and would happily come again if we were doing such a large family trip.

This villa was well appointed, fit 14 of our family very well and was a great jumping off point for exploring Lake Garda and north. The location was perfect for any number of day trips around the lake and north .
The absence of a laundry dryer did not prove to be an issue, since a large drying rack worked well for our needs.
There was a bit of juggling of the multiple key rings for the property, but, in general, not a problem

The property is amazing, as is the house. It was very well equipped and clean. Lots of loungers, pool towels and everything your heart desires. We had two minor mishaps on the first day that no one could have foreseen. These were remedied immediately. Great service. We liked everything.
Good to know: The rooms on the first floor are relatively small. Perfectly sufficient for children. A bit challenging for adults with luggage… at least if 16 adults really arrive. Otherwise, the house offers more than enough storage space.

Plenty of clean appropriately sized bedrooms and bathrooms, two kitchens, with ample dining space. Outdoor sitting and eating areas, medium sized pool with lounge chairs and plenty of walking space and parking space as the property is enormous. Close proximity to several small towns on Lake Gardia makes the house perfect for relaxation, sightseeing and shopping.

A dreamlike area, characterized by many olive trees, and at the center of it all is the very well-kept and extremely clean villa. Praised by everyone, the high-quality furnishings, including new mattresses in the beds. Manuel Begliutti’s catering for the birthday party was top-notch, and the evening was crowned by thousands of fireflies over the small lake
