Overview

Villa Botanico sits in Gardone Riviera in a wonderfully quiet position, surrounded by the lush greenery of the botanical garden. The villa was renovated in 2021 with fine finishes and thoughtful design details, and it feels calm and well cared for throughout.

The villa is arranged over two levels. On the ground floor you have the modern kitchen, dining area and living room, plus a service bathroom and laundry area. The kitchen opens directly onto the porch, which is set up for outdoor dining beside the pool.

Upstairs are the four bedrooms and two further bathrooms. Bedroom styles are varied and full of character, including a Japanese-inspired double room with a balcony and partial lake view, a Venetian-inspired double overlooking the pool, a bright garden-view double, and a double room with bunk bed.

Outside, the garden is fully usable and feels private and green, with the long pool as the centrepiece, a shaded porch for meals, and a relaxed set-up for families including table tennis.

Location

Villa Botanico is around a 5-minute walk to the lakefront and the centre of Gardone Riviera, where you’ll find restaurants, bars, shops, the lakeside promenade and the ferry pier.

You’re right beside the botanical garden created by Andre Heller, which is one of Gardone Riviera’s most beautiful spots and part of what gives this area its calm, green feel.

Although the villa is walkable day-to-day, a car is still useful for flexibility, shopping, and exploring further afield.

The villa is approximately one hour’s drive from Milan Bergamo Airport and Verona Airport.

Good to know

Air conditioning is available in three of the bedrooms and in the living area. The bedroom with bunk beds does not have air conditioning, although fans are provided.

The approach and entrance are narrow, so it’s worth taking it slowly on arrival, and reversing in can make departure easier.

Laundry facilities are available, and hairdryers are provided.
