Villa Parco is an elegant, historic residence surrounded by large gardens and just a short stroll to the shores of Lake Garda and the lakeside promenade of Gardone Riviera. With a wonderful central tower and Art Nouveau architecture, Villa Parco offers privacy in a wonderfully historic setting, making for a great villa stay in Lake Garda.
It’s a fantastic choice for a getaway with family and friends and comes complete with a private pool, lush gardens and is within walking distance of the lakeside town of Gardone Riviera. With a beautiful view of the lake, the villa also enjoys a great outdoor lounge and dining space, complimented by a wonderful barbecue, perfect for evening “grigliate”.
Villa Parco is set over 3 floors and sleeps 10 guests in 5 spacious and bright double bedrooms. One bedroom is on the mezzanine floor; three bedrooms on the first floor and the fifth bedroom on the attic floor.
The house is host to 4 bathrooms; one on the mezzanine floor, with shower; two on the first floor, one with shower and one with bath and a small bathroom on the attic floor, with bath.
The living and dining spaces are on the mezzanine level and offer a great space for entertaining including TV for movie nights. The kitchen has all you need to prepare fantastic local dishes and modern appliances to help (including the all-important dishwasher) and there’s a barbecue outside too, ideal for grilling freshly-caught local fish!
Step down into the beautiful gardens, complete with wonderful trees, water fountain and statue and head to the villa’s own private swimming pool. Relax poolside with a spritz, play games with the kids or simply cool off during sun soaked afternoons – the pool has great exposure and is fully furnished with sun loungers and parasols.

One double bedroom is on the mezzanine floor, together with a bathroom. This bathroom has a shower.
Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the first floor. One bathroom has a shower and one has a bathtub.
One bedroom and small bathroom is on the attic floor. This bathroom has a bathtub.
Kitchen
The modern kitchen is fully equipped and is complete with oven, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine.
Swimming Pool
The private swimming pool is complete with sun loungers and parasols and measures 8m x 5m.
Good to Know
The villa comes complete with WIFI and there is air conditioning in three of the bedrooms. The villa has laundry facilities and all bedrooms have a hairdryer and safe.

Location
Villa Parco is in a fantastic location, set in a quiet residential area of Gardone Riviera. A 10 minute walk brings you to the lakeside promenade running into Gardone Riviera, a famous lakeside town full of restaurants, bars and great little shops. A 10 minute drive brings you to the town of Salò, a popular all-year round town, again right on the shore of Lake Garda.
Both towns have wonderful lake front promenades and are lined with great restaurants and bars, making them perfect lunch or dinner spots or just places to relax with an aperitivo and watch the world go by.
A vehicle isn’t essential for stays at Villa Parco but we do recommend one. There is space for four to five cars within the property grounds.
This villa is about a 1 hour drive to both Milan Bergamo Airport and Verona Airport and is an easy destination to get to.

Lovely historic property in a lovely location. Great outdoor area with places to eat, swimming pool and ping pong table. Kitchen is small but very well equipped and overall a very comfortable, family style home.

It is a beautiful old style villa with oodles of character and lovely views over Lake Garda. It’s in a good location, being quite close to some shops, bars and restaurants. The villa has plenty of room inside and out and has a clean, well maintained salt-water pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. When we arrived, we were greeted by someone from the ownership team who showed us around the house – I felt this was a nice touch. Everything was very clean and the house was serviced and linen changed at the end of our first week (of two). There is air-con, but only in three bedrooms – the one on the top floor and two on the middle floor. We found we could cool the other bedroom on the middle floor by closing the doors to the stairwell – this worked very well. I would suggest the owners try to install air-con to the other two bedrooms.
There are four bathrooms – a small sit-up bath on the top floor, a good sized bathroom and separate good sized shower room on the first floor, and a shower room (with washing machine) on the ground floor – the bottom one was the best for showering.
Note that the villa is on a steep hill, so whilst shops/restaurants are within walking distance, it may be easier to drive.
Nearby Gardone Riviera can be reached by going up the hill through Morgnaga which was very useful.
Note the limited rooms with air-con, but this was not a major problem for us and we were able to work around this. The kitchen is on the small side but is ok – I think it would challenging to prepare proper meals. The sitting room is also a little small and would feel cramped if the house was full. There is (not very fast) wifi, but due to the solid walls, is pretty much only available in the sitting room. I would recommend the owners explore delivering wifi to the rest of the house. The doors of the shower on the first floor were very fiddly. I think some of the outdoor furniture (some sunbeds and parasols) could do with replacement. Be careful about grounding out your car on the entrance gates.

Villa is charming and in a great location. The view is amazing. I can only recommend taking a service as well. We booked a barbecue evening with a chef – he really toped everything. However, you definitely have to adjust to the fact that it is an older house and is therefore also a bit noisy.
