Sitting in a quiet and exclusive residence close to the lake, Villa Torchio is a wonderful private villa near to the Port of Torchio in Manerba del Garda.
Wonderful interiors, private swimming pool and within walking distance to the lake makes for a unique stay in one of Lake Garda’s most sought after areas.
Villa Torchio boasts a blend of modern architecture and attention to detail and is spread over three levels to accommodate up to eight guests accross three bedrooms. The principle living space is on the ground floor and is the heart of this villa. Large floor to ceiling windows flood the home with light and the open plan living room, dining and kitchen areas open out on to the patio.
Head upstairs to the first floor and two bedrooms – the master double room and a twin room. The master bedroom has a private balcony with a view over the lake and both rooms share a family bathroom. The lowest level of the villa is home to the third bedroom and bathroom.
Step outside and relax in the garden or kick back and cool off in the private swimming pool – the perfect spot to while away sun-soaked afternoons.

Bedrooms and bathrooms
Double room and a twin room on the first floor. Lower basement floor has a room with double sofa bed. The lounge also has a double bed. There are three bathrooms – one each on the first and lower floors and a guest bathroom on the ground floor.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes an oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine.
Good to know
The porch and outside lounge area is covered.
At full capacity, guests will be sleeping on the sofa beds in the lounge and lower floor.
The villa has air conditioning in the two upper bedrooms and living area and there is WIFI.
There is a laundry room available in the lower level.
The swimming pool is available usually from the 1st of May to the end of September, weather dependant.

Location
Located on the south coast of Lake Garda, Villa Torchio is just a few minutes walk to the popular Porto Torchio. Well known for its beaches and selection of excellent restaurants, the lake here is the access point to the famous Isola dei Conigli or Rabbit Island.
The small village of Montinelle is within a 10 minute walk and offers another selection of restaurants and cafes.
The famous Rocca di Manerba, a historical, natural park is also within walking distance and offers some of the most breathtaking views over Lake Garda.
Villa Torchio sits between the larger and popular towns of Salò and Desenzano del Garda, both around 15 minutes away making this home a great spot to explore this wonderful area of Lake Garda. Milan, Verona and Venice are also easily reachable from here – both the main motorway and Desenzano train station (one of only two on Lake Garda) are just 15 minutes drive away.

Very nice location, from the upper rooms you have a view of the lake. Overall, it was (except for the garden work) very quiet. The green spaces, ie the gardens, are very well maintained. The automatic irrigation in the evening, which is certainly helpful, is something someone has thought about. Ample parking is available, we even would have had an underground parking space. The way down to the lake is a 10 minute walk, to the place itself in the other direction as well. You can walk wonderfully on the lake beach. It is not far to the Rocca the Manerba. The rooms can be darkened well, even the living room – you do not often. There is enough crockery and cutlery there, even for more than 4 people. A large table in the kitchen and one on the terrace, so plenty of space here as well. Induction cooker, oven, microwave and even a freezer – the equipment is very extensive. There was air conditioning in the bedrooms, but we did not use it. The pool is completely adequate and was used by us. We didn’t mind that it wasn’t heated.
That in our short vacation time the garden work fell, there’s nothing to do about it. Is not a criticism, either, because at some point it has to be taken care of, if the gardens are to look well maintained. But what was very disturbing was the leaf blower that removed the (not very many) leaves from the access roads to the houses. A broom would have been faster, much quieter and more energy saving. The leaf blower was even used in one garden to remove the leaves under the hedge (there was lawn!). There were only four of us traveling, the house can be occupied by up to 8 people. But there is still a bedroom in the basement. We found it designed a bit carelessly. As a sleeping accommodation, there is only a pull-out sofa. The cleaners should put a little more emphasis on corners and in the cupboards. Also, it is incomprehensible that doors do not close properly (in one of the bedrooms and in the kitchen block) and that is not noticeable, reported and repaired when the cleaners pass throug

Fantastic villa in a great location. Very clean and comfortable. Pool was perfect. Could benefit from having a barbecue or outdoor cooking facility. Also pool loungers were a bit old
