Overview

Villa Rose Estate is an exclusive hillside estate above Toscolano Maderno, set among ancient olive trees and landscaped gardens with some of the most panoramic lake views on this side of Lake Garda. It’s arranged as two adjoining villas that work beautifully together for large groups: Villa Juliet Rose and Villa Saffron, each with its own living and dining areas, kitchens, pool and outdoor jacuzzi.

Both homes face the lake and are designed for easy villa living, with generous terraces, indoor-outdoor flow, and plenty of space to gather without everyone being on top of each other. Bedrooms are arranged as en-suite double suites, which makes the practical side of a group stay feel simple from day one.

Outside, the gardens are a real highlight: immaculately kept lawns, flowerbeds and terraces that make the most of the scenery, plus multiple outdoor areas for dining and relaxing. You’re also a short walk from the hamlet of Gaino, which is a lovely touch for an evening meal without needing to drive.

Location

Villa Rose Estate is a hillside home around 3km from Toscolano Maderno. The hamlet of Gaino is a short walk away and has an excellent traditional restaurant, but you will need a vehicle here for day trips and shopping. Parking is available within the villa grounds.

Toscolano Maderno is a strong base on the south-west shore, with a ferry port offering an easy way to explore other towns around the lake. There is also a car ferry, which can be a lovely way to reach the east coast. If you’re planning to use the ferries, our Lake Garda ferry guide is a helpful starting point.

For something truly memorable, there is a helicopter service available for stays at this estate, with the helicopter able to land in the garden.

The Villa Rose Estate is just over a 1 hour drive from both Milan Bergamo and Verona airports.

Good to know

A welcome hamper is provided on arrival, and fresh bread and croissants are delivered each morning (excluding Sundays in low and mid season).

You’ll receive an iPad on arrival with a personalised villa app containing useful information and tips for the stay.

At full capacity, four guests will be sleeping in single beds added across four bedrooms.

Each home is equipped up to its maximum occupancy. If you wish to host a dinner for all 18 guests together, furniture will need to be rearranged and sufficient tables and chairs prepared. This can be arranged by the villa staff at an additional cost.
