Villa Ca dela Nua

Overview

Nestled directly on the shore of Lake Garda’s northern coast, this unique property sits close to Limone sul Garda. An extraordinary home, Ca dela Nua is a carefully and lovingly restored limonaia (lemon grove) and its wonderful terraced gardens and superb privacy offer a very unique stay in this wonderful area of Lake Garda.

With stunning views over the lake, the terraces were once used to create perfect conditions for hundreds of lemon trees, some of which would have up to a thousand lemons on a single tree. Orange and lemon trees still grow among the columns and the old limonaia has been given a new lease of life with three independant homes.

This magnificent home and its beautiful terraced gardens look out over the lake and mountains and offers wonderful direct access to the lake. Just 134 steps separate the home from the waters edge where you can take a dip or relax and soak up stunning views across the water.

Ca dela Nua is spread over three independent apartments, each with wonderful lake views and accommodates up to 12 guests across 6 bedrooms. With bright interiors and careful attention to detail, each apartment has a living area, two bedrooms as well as one or two bathrooms and offers a wonderful option for friends and family travelling together.

The stunning feature of this home is the direct access to the lake. When you’re ready for a dip after a day of exploring, simply head through the gardens to the jetty and enjoy lakeside living at its finest.

The limonaia gardens also boast relaxing spa facilities with sauna and a whirlpool overlooking the lake. Ca dela Nua also has an in-house masseuse, offering a range of wellness and relaxation treatments.

The Apartments

Agape

Situated on the middle level of the property, Agape has an open plan living space with fully equipped kitchen and wonderful lake views from both the living space and bedrooms. Step out onto one of the largest lawned terraces in the limonaia and enjoy your own private garden, a spot perfect for al-fresco dining and soaking up breathtaklng lake views. There’s a barbecue too. Alba

Situated on the middle level of the property, Alba is the largest of the apartments and is spread over two floors. The upper floor is home to a bright, open plan living and kitchen area and a stunning private terrace with breathtaking views over the lake. Head down to the lower floor to the two lakeview bedrooms and bathroom. Antea

Situated on the upper level of the property, Antea is a spacious loft apartment offering wonderful lake views from the bright, open plan living space. Three double bedrooms and three twin rooms and five bathrooms. Agape and Alba have two bathrooms while Antea has one bathroom, all with showers and bathtub.

Good to Know

The limonaia has its own private access to the lake and jetty but please note there is a few minutes walk through the gardens and down the terraces to reach the water.

Each apartment has a private garden space as well as a barbecue.

WIFI is provided throughout and each of the apartments has air conditioning in the bedrooms and living area.

The owners of this stunning home consider Lake Garda to be the most beautiful pool possible and have therefore decided not to build a swimming pool in the limonaia.

Each apartment has its own double garage, which is exclusively accessible by car lift. Electric vehicle charging is available on request.

In line with the requests of the owner, this home is available to guests aged 12 or over only.

Location

A unique property deserves a unique location and Ca dela Nua is no exception. Located just under 2km from the centre of Limone sul Garda, Ca dela Nua is directly on the ciclopedonale, the new bike and pedestrian path running from Limone up towards Riva del Garda.

To reach the limonaia, you need to drive along a short stretch of the path and as such check-in is a little later here (from 5pm) in order to avoid the busier periods on the path.

A vehicle is highly recommended for stays here but Limone is just 1.5km away, approximately 20 minutes walk, and is bustling with lakeside cafes and restaurants. Limone also has a ferry port and offers a direct connection to Malcesine on the opposite coast of the lake.

Ca dela Nua is just under 2 hours from Milan Bergamo airport and just under 90 minutes from Verona.
